Cameron Mackintosh LimitedCameron Mackintosh Ltd require for their Central London Office a Telephonist / Receptionist.

Bright, articulate and well-presented person to take care of a busy telephone switchboard and reception area (with one other). Applicants must be enthusiastic, have the ability to work well under pressure and deal with people at all levels. Contract period of 51 weeks.

Training will be given to the successful candidate but previous reception/telephone switchboard experience is preferred. Immediate Start.

Reception/Telephonist

Sorting incoming mail, forwarding voicemail messages, greeting guests and/or visitors to the office, answering incoming calls and forwarding call to relevant person, message handling and forwarding, accurate record keeping of who is in the building including staff, guests and visitors, car and bike bookings, checking newspaper articles, upkeep of attendance diaries, health and safety responsibilities, keeping the reception area neat and tidy, general office duties as necessary.

The contracted working hours will be either 9am to 5pm or 11am to 7pm depending on chosen shift (this is worked out on a day to day basis with the other receptionist). You will be entitled to four weeks paid holiday.

As the position of Telephonist / Receptionist is considered a ‘front line’ role, day-to-day appearance and dress should reflect this. Expected dress is suitable smart attire (further clarification will be given during interview), appropriate footwear must be worn at all times and jeans are not permitted whilst working in the reception area.

Please note that the above position is for a fixed term of 51 weeks and is not a permanent position at Cameron Mackintosh Ltd.
