The new company of The Phantom of the Opera in London, began their run last night. John Owen-Jones returns to star as The Phantom, having previously played the role in the West End and on Broadway. He is joined by Celinde Schoenmaker as Christine Daaé, Nadim Naaman as Raoul, Michael Matus as Monsieur Firmin and Christopher Dickens as Monsieur André. John Owen-Jones will play the role until Saturday 30 January2016, when Ben Forster will take over as The Phantom.

On October 9th this year, the show will celebrate its 29th birthday at Her Majesty's Theatre, the original London home of the The Phantom of the Opera.
